Programming Information

Our Tapestry is a participatory art therapy project aiming to harvest healthy relationships within families by strengthening emotional ties among family as well as harnessing empathy and compassion for the self and others.

Through exploring themes such as fears, challenges, identities, dreams, or hopes, participants will be guided to reflect on the qualities and meanings of their relationships with others in support of the emotional wellbeing of the self and the other.

During the sessions, participants will co-create a large-format textile or cloth using techniques such as weaving, stitching and sewing.

The project is suitable for parent or caregiver-and-child pairs. Participants must attend all four sessions. Participants will have the chance to showcase their artworks in a public art exhibition after the project.
